Week 9 Term 4
This year has gone by so fast! It has been really fun this week. In class I finally finished my visual language task (the poster), and on Wednesday we had a fun day. We watched Legally Blond for the whole first block and finished just before the bell, then after morning tea we played non-stop cricket for half a block then started watching the movie Home, and the for the rest of the afternoon we finished the movie then played softball for the rest of the afternoon. In tech arts we watched That Sugar Film and it was very interesting. We then had to make a poster about no sugar and what the consequences could be and stuff like that. We are experimenting with another website called clipchamp and we had to write a short reflection about our year. The post above.
Week 8 Term 4
Sorry I haven't been writing for a while but this term has been super busy and full of work. This week we have learnt a few new things, but mostly we have just been doing visual language. We had to make a video from a song so I chose Rolling in the deep by Adele and found pictures to match the sentence I was working with. We have also been given a song from Mrs Crowe and we had to make a poster about it, and then write a paragraph about why you used the colors/photos. In tech arts we made pizza boxes last week and then made pizzas on Tuesday. We had to make something unique and different so I did a watermelon pizza. I used spinach as the outside of the watermelon then ham for the inside. On Friday we got to make our own cookie bag and decorate and shape our own cookies. Ms Fynn made the dough and we shaped, cooked, and decorated them. Next week we are watching That Sugar Film. I also can't wait till next Wednesday as we are having our fun class day watching movies and playing sport.

Week 3 term 4
I was so right! Food is sooooooooooo much fun!!! On Tuesday we went in groups of three and made a banana milkshake, and on Friday you got to choose out of four options. The options were a baked apple, pizza snacks, mouse traps, or a jacket potato. I originally chose a baked apple, but Ms Finn said it only took about 10 minutes so I made pizza snacks as well. They were DELICIOUS!!!!!!! In French we didn't have it again because Mrs Shaw was dealing with two boys and Mr McCabe, the principal, was in Samoa. In class for maths I learnt how to use mean, mode, and median. For mean you need to add all of your numbers then divide them by the amount of numbers there are. For example... 5+2+3+7+8=25. 25 divided by 5 = 5, so the answer is 5. For mode all you need to do is write the most common number. For example... 5, 6, 4, 6, 7, 6, 9, 2, 3. The most common number is 6. Easy. For median your are given some numbers, you then have to order them from smallest to largest then find the number/s directly in the middle. If you have two directly in the middle you will need to do mean to those two numbers. For example... 0, 6, 2, 8, 1, 1, 0, 0, 9, 7, 3, 2. Then in smallest to largest... 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9. Both of the two's are in the middle so then you need to do mean. 2+2=4 divided by 2 = 2. The Ray Bradbury essay was due on Friday and I finished it at home the night before it was due. Phew!
Week 2 Term 4
This week has surprisingly been really quiet. We didn't learnt any new maths and we just had to finish our highlighted work, and French wasn't on because Mrs Shaw had lot's of meetings with the new students coming to T.A.I next year. For English we just had to carry on with our essay about Ray Bradbury and the short story we chose, and that was technically all we did in class. We had our last two lessons of science in tech arts this week and we did revision on how to find forces of an object in motion, and then we had a test to see if we knew how to do it. In Friday sport we have started doing athletics. I am in year 7 girls team B with two other people from my class. This week we had to do shot-put and then move onto long distance. Other than tech arts and athletics we had a really quite week, and I can't wait till we start food on Tuesday!!!

Week 1 Term 4
I'm so glad to back at school! This week in maths we have started statistics. So far we have learnt how to draw dot plots, frequency tables, bar/column graphs, line graphs, and have also been able to answer questions with given and plotted information. In French we are learning how to say "I come from New Zealand," and, "I speak English." I haven't quite got it yet, but I'll keep practising. For reading we all chose a short story from Ray Bradbury and then we have to compare it to the short film. We also have to do some research about Ray Bradbury and then write a small paragraph about him. For sport we have started athletics :( My least favourite is probably high jump or middle distance (I don't like either). My favourite is definitely long jump though. It's the only one I like.

Week 10 Term 3
Nooooooooooo!!! It's the last week of school :( Most people hate it and are glad it's the end of term, but not me, I absolutely love it!!! In class for maths we only have the rest of the term for geometry so we have started transformations this week. We have learnt how to translate shapes, how to use reflections with shapes, how to rotate shapes, and how to enlarge and reduce shapes. In tech arts it was so fun going down the slippery slide, it was freezing cold though! In french we had to say our family tree and I knew it off by heart.
Voici Ma Famille
Mon grand-pere s'apple Cliff
Ma grand-mere s'apple Marion
Mon grand-pere s'apple Wayne
Ma grand-mere s'apple Kathryn
Mon pere s'apple JT
Ma mere s'apple Rowan
Ma souer s'apple Brittany
Mon frere s'apple Luke
Moi Je'mapelle Arden
For writing we have had to put our poem on you tube editor and make a video with photos. This is what I did...

Week 9 Term 3
This week has been a chaotic week! We have had all of the people who got accepted to sports camp have gone, and some more people have gone on a skiing trip, so we have had barely any people in the class! In maths We have learnt how to find bearing, and also have learnt to understand locus/loci. Bearings are technically just finding the angle for north, south, east, and west, and locus is just drawing a path for the moving object. In reading I have finally finished and handed in my novel analysis, and have also finished and handed in my poem. In french we have briefly learnt how to say things like my mum is called ..., my dad is called ..., my brother is called ..., my sister is called ..., my grandmother is called ..., my grandfather is called .... We also had to make a family tree on a piece of card we were given, and we have to practice it at home so we can say it off by heart next week. In tech arts we finally got our trophy for the marble race champions. We are still learning about forces and motion so we got to roll down the hill in a bucket, and next week we get to go on a slippery slide. The only down side is that its freezing cold!!!

Week 8 Term 3
This week we have had all of the AIM's people go and compete for our school. I'm not quite sure what the score was but I'm pretty sure we did good. In tech arts we are learning about forces and motion, so because of that we have all done marble races. We get to go in groups of three or four and the team closest to 20 wins. My team, which was Hadlee, Grace, and me, got a time of 19.99 seconds. It was our first try and that was how close it was to 20. For maths, in class, I have learnt a small portion of maths because I finished most of it last week. We have learnt how to find unknown angles and have learnt about angles in polygons. For reading I finally finished my short story analysis, it took a while but in the end I finally finished. I still have my novel analysis to do though. We are also doing poetry in class and we have to choose one to publish, so I still have to choose what one I'm going to do. I can't decide!!!

Week 7 term 3
Hello!
This week we have learnt a bit more about geometry. We have learnt the basics about circles like the radius, diameter, segment, sector, arc, chord, tangent, circumference, etc. We have also learnt how to recognise 3D shapes, how to draw triangles, how to name and measure angles, how to draw angles, how to use a compass, how to use a compass and/or protractor to draw triangles, and have learnt about angles of a triangle. In tech arts we had these tissue tubes and we had a lighter. Mrs Tyson demonstrated and it burnt down until there was about half a centimetre left and then it flew up towards the ceiling.
See you soon!

Week 6 Term 3
This week has been a long week! In tech arts it's was our last lesson on Tuesday and then we started science on Friday. In fabric I finished my bag and then made a mouse. It has a blue base, blue ears, a black body, a green tail, and pink eyes. In science we had this white ball and when a human touched both sides of the metal it lit up. You could have two people and with one hand each on the metal, but then if you wanted it to light up you would have to touch hands. We then had to write on the whiteboard what worked and made it light up, like water, metal, table legs, etc. In french we learnt our colours like marron (brown), bleu (blue), blanc (white), noir (black), violet (purple), vert (green), orange (orange), rose (pink), rouge (red), and jaune (yellow). For maths we have started geometery and have learnt just a little bit about angles like acute, obtuse, straight, reflex, revolution, and right.
Au Revoir
Week 5 Term 3
I am so glad that speeches and cross country are nearly over! For cross country we have been practicing for the past three weeks and the track is about three kilometers. In tech arts I have nearly finished my bag and when I'm finished I can take it home. Instead of three different coloured hearts I'm just having a black letter A. In french we are learning everything that you would find in a pencil case like une caulculatrice (caulculator), une trousse (pencil case), une goumme (eraser), un stylo (pen), un feutre (felt), un crayon (pencil), etc. We have also learnt a bit of algebra because it's the last week of learning it. We have learnt how to use backtracking to solve equations, for example ... 3x-5=28. Since you going backwards you need to everything else backwards, so 3x = 28+5, 3x divided by 3= x, so 33 divided by 3= 11. The answer is x=11. We had also learnt how to find the unknown in more difficult equations, for example ... 4x =12, 4 x ?= 12, the answer would be 3 because 4 x 3=12.

Week 4 Term 3
This week we have learnt a lot... again. For maths we have learnt how to write algebraic expressions, how to simplify them, and how to find, group, and simplify like terms. To write algebraic expressions you get questions like, the sum of 3 and A is what, the answer would be 3+A because sum means addition. To simplify expressions you would get questions like, a+a+a+a+a+a+a+a, you are just simplifying it so the answer would be 8a ( 8 x a ). To find, group, and simplify like terms you would get questions like ,2mn+3f+5mn+7f, you would need to find the like-terms of all four numbers and those would be 2mn+5mn and 3f+7f. After that you then need to simplify the like-terms to get the answer so the answer would be 7mn+10f. Yesterday all of the year sevens in our class said there speeches and all of the year eights in our class said them on Monday. I was really nervous for mine yesterday but I ended up doing really well. Out of 14 people I got top four and am now in the class finals. Mrs Crowe videoed us and are now in the student shared folder. It was so scary! For cross country I have ran 22.8 km and have ran the whole way. In total I have ran half a marathon which is 21.1 km and a marathon is 42.2 km and I'm trying to reach a marathon. In tech arts we have started making bags. The design I chose is white and it has a shoulder strap and a flap that covers the top. The pictures I chose was three different coloured hearts on the flap, and I am looking foward to finishing it tomorrow.

Week 3 Term 3
This week has been absolutely crazy, especially with all of the student led conferences (parent teacher interviews) happening. Mine was on Wednesday at one o'clock, and it went really well. For maths we have learnt about how to use rules containing brackets, and how to use formulae. In tech arts we have started making pillows. We get to design our own and then paint it the colours of our choice. Mine is covered with words. I have put my family's name on the boarder and the things I like to do on the inside like dance, netball, family, school, and then I have put my nickname AJ in the middle and paw prints in all four corners. In class we have started another argument. The subjects we could choose out of were, should the New Zealand flag be changed?, Is our national anthem outdated?, or Should supermarket bags be banned? I chose should the New Zealand flag be changed, and I went with it shouldn't be changed. We have a challenge from our teacher and it is to get a young adult book that is not to easy for us to read and then write a huge novel analysis on it from the question we are going to get given, but if we don't like the book we have to read another one. I chose to go for twilight because I have that sitting on my shelf at home, and it's a pretty big book but we have till the end of term so I'm not worried. In french we are learning about stationary like pens, pencils, felt tips, rulers, and everything else you would find in a pencil case.
Au revoir
Au revoir
Week 2 Term 3
This week two of the worst things of the year has started, cross country and speeches. For cross country in just nine days I have ran 14.6 km which is way more than I would like to have done and we are still running for another three or four weeks and then we have school cross country and then eastern zone cross country. For my speech My topic is animal rights and how some animals are being treated horribly. Mine is around about three to four minutes and we have to say it in two weeks time. In tech arts we have made pencil cases, and you get to choose a pattern you like and a zip of our choice. We had to zigzag stitch the outside and then sew the zip to it leaving the zip unzipped a little bit, and once we had sewn the sides we then had to turn it inside out by using the space from the open part of the zip. in class we have learnt a lot of algebra. We have learnt a bit about graphs and how to make one by using a pattern and a rule. I also learnt that you always need to start at x axis not the y axis. The trick is to always to remember that x comes before y in the alphabet, so you start at x axis. I have also learnt how to generate rules from flowcharts. If it say thing like subtract six, divide by two, plus seven, you would combine all of those to make a rule.

Week 1 Term 3
I'm so glad to be back at school! This term we have started algebra. So far we have learnt about number patterns and finding the rule. The answer would be something like n x 5 -2, but algebra doesn't like multiplying signs, so you leave it out. Algebra also likes to have the number first not the letter, so the full answer would be 5n-2. In tech arts we have started fabric. On Tuesday we made a tennis ball, and the two colours I chose were black and green. We had to put them in a T shape and then always had to sew up through the bottom. All the sides had to be touching so it would end up like a cup. We then had to keep sewing until we had a three finger space, and then turn it inside out. I put stuffing in mine and then ladder stitched my hole. Overall I got a three for my stitching, and another three for my shape. We are doing another thing in class called readers theatre, and you have to say this little play in front of everyone. I'm doing one with six other people and the script is called 'Can you see what I Feel'. We are also starting persuasive writing. The two topics we got to choose out of were cats are better pets than dogs, or dogs are better pets than cats. I have two dogs and four cats so I did eenee meenie miney mo, and I ended up doing cats are better pets than dogs. Yesterday, in French, we learnt our numbers from 10-20 and did some math equations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It was quite difficult but I did some of them without my book and got them all right in the end.

Week 10 Term 2
Morning. This week we have learnt how to solve word problems involving area, perimeter and volume. In writing I have finished my information report about Pray Mantises, and am going to start editing on Monday. For tech arts I changed my mind about doing a torch and am going to do a plastic box so all the lights will shine through and I think it will look really cool. We have some students from Belmont school to compete in sports and some people from our school have gone up to Auckland and are competing as well. I know the scores that they scored here, but I'm not sure how they went in Auckland. In Te Awamutu for mixed hockey we lost 9-0, for girls football we lost 5-0, for boys rugby we won 55-20 and for girls basketball we lost 39-29, so in total we lost three and won one. I got to watch some of the sports because I was filling up paper cups with water for all the sport players with two other people from my class. During the holidays we all have to write a persuasive speech. I thought I could do something about animal rights and how some animals aren't being treated fairly. We haven't had french this week and so far I only have $5.70 towards my Noumea trip, so I need $944.30 left to earn.

Week 9 Term 2
Afternoon! This week we have learnt how to find the volume of some 3D shapes, I have also learnt how to find the metric measures of cubed numbers. In tech arts we are doing things with led lights, I had decided I would make a torch out of plastic. I had to get a cylinder and wrap the plastic around then let it melt then harden around the cylinder. I then had to slip the cylinder out of the plastic and start to do the tops. I'm not completely finished but I'm really exited to carry on. We have had to start writing our studently conference for next term and the teacher's going to read them on the weekend. We got our animal note taking sheets back and I'm really excited to start writing about the prayer mantis. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday production was happening but I didn't go because I got to see it at school. It looked really cool! Lots of people are going to Belmont for sports so we will only have a few people in class.

Week 8 Term 2
Thursday, I think, I don't know!! This week we have learnt about metric measures and composite shapes. composite shapes is when you can find out the area of a weird looking shape in two ways. You can multiply the base and the height and then subtract the missing area, or you can turn them into two shapes then add them together. As I mentioned before everybody is at production so the people that are left get to do a novel analysis. I'm doing mine on the book 'Listen to the Moon' from Michael Morpurgo, he writes famous stories about world war 1 and 2. On Wednesday I also mentioned that I was going to watch the production on Tuesday. It turns out it's next week not this week. WHOOPS!!! Good thing mum read the notices. For jump jam the teacher told half way through I have to be a leader, dance in front of everyone. Even worse, when I was leading with the other girls they played a jump jam song I didn't know the moves for, so I just had to copy the person in front of me. For our class their is no school tomorrow because of teacher only day so my family and I are going to the field days. I am so excited!!!

Week 7 Term 2
Hello everyone, as you all know it was the queens birthday on Monday so it was a long weekend (especially for me, I spent the whole weekend dragging boxes into the new house). Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear queen, happy birthday to you. In class we are doing perimeter and area. For perimeter all you need to do is add all sides together and that will be the answer. For area all you do is multiply both sides together and then add meters squared at the end. I also finished my note taking about pray mantises (did you know they eat there own kind, YUCK!!) On Tuesday we also has Icas science, I think I did pretty good but I don't want to jinx it. Next week is production and lot's of people are going out of class for one WHOLE entire week, score. It's like a big play that happens once every year. This year it;s called the battle of the bands and I think in the play the bands battle or something, I am going to watch on Tuesday at 7:30pm. We had french yesterday and next year I am going to go to Noumea, but I have to save up half by doing jobs and then putting the money I earn in a jar it looks so relaxing and interesting.

Week 6 Term 2
This week we have done a lot of writing. We have handed in our reports on penguins and we had to highlight the topic sentences, full stops, sentence starters, capital letters then fanboys and awubus words. We did that from notes that the teacher gave us, so we had to draw an animal or an insect from the box, you then take notes about that animal from the book and then write a report about it. I got a... pray mantis. Did you know if the male is not careful the female will eat him! Yuck!
On Tuesday was our first real lesson for tech arts in wood work and we have it again today. Our actual first lesson was on Friday but we just learnt about safety. Today we are going to finish our spinning tops. On Wednesday it was first response, and you could dress up as a fireman, or a police, or a doctor. If you didn't want to you could just come in your everyday clothes. I signed up for the gym sport team. It's when you have a routine and everybody does it, then the person with the most points overall on the beam, floor and vault.
Gotta go, bye!!

Week 5 Term 2
This week we have learnt a lot! I know, I know, I say that every week but its true. We have started new reading, writing, tech arts, maths and french tasks. For reading we read a short story about an animal that we had to guess what it was through the story. It was about a intelligent rat, called Barney, who had a plan to get rid of his owner and take over the world. He was kept in a cage so when he was let out he grabbed the key and threw it down a well. His owner, of course, went down to fetch it but the rat nibbled threw the rope ladder and killed the man. At the end of the story he was pretending to be the man and he said that Barney was dead and he was asking people to bring female rats onto the island so he could make more intelligent baby rats. For writing we are doing my favorite part, information reports! We have been given a sheet of notes about penguins and we have to write a draft information report about penguins. The paragraphs we need to write about are types, description, habitat, food, life cycle, growing up, special features, general, movement, enemies, predators and threats. At tech arts Tuesday was our very last art lesson. I finished my jandal and water color. For my jandal I beaded the straps and for my water color I finished outlining it with vivid and then cut it out. Our next tech art subject is design, so we get to make all sorts of things with wood. In class, for maths, we learnt about how to find a whole number from a given fraction, for example. If the question is two sixths is eight you would divide eight by the numerator, two, so that equals four, then you would multiply four with six so the answer is 24. In french we learnt how to spell our own name and how to ask how do you spell that. Bonjour, tu tapell comment? Jem a pell Arden, Comment ca s' ecrit, Ca s' ecrit A- ah R-rrk D-de E-er N-en.
A bientot, see you soon.

Week 4 Term 2
Wow! Time has flied by sooo fast. It is week 3, no week 4, I'm just confusing myself. This week we learnt how to write fractions in simplest form by dividing both numbers. I also learnt how to use improper fractions and mixed number together both ways. If it is an improper fraction you need to work out how many of that number is in the other number. For example, 11/3, how many threes are in 11? 3, 6, 9, so the whole number is 3. You have two numbers left over so you would turn that into 2/3, the answer three and two thirds. If you're doing it the other way you need to turn a proper fraction with a whole number into an improper fraction. You multiply the whole number with the denominator and that onto the numerator. Use the same denominator but the added sun as the numerator. For example, five times three equals 15, plus two equals 17 so the answer is 17/3. I've just finished my memoir and handed it in. The due date is tomorrow but I'm not going to be here because I have a dance competition. Wish me luck!!!

Week 3 Term 2
This week we have had a crazy week. On Monday guess what... I finally got my first shine band! YAY!!! I got 10 signatures for respect so now I have a yellow shine band that says,
I show respect. We have learnt about fractions and how to convert them in to decimals.
8 45/100 = 8.45, eight and fourty five hundreths equals eight point four five. I have also completed my reading task. You have to read two elocated short stories and answer questions about the story in similarites and differences like the plot, setting, dialogue, theme, resolution, etc. We started writing a memoir about an event that happened in the past, like going to the dentist, doctors or nearly drowning in a wave and it has to be in a moment when you were frightened or happy. Me and my friend Caitlin are learning about an app called wevideo, and it's when you make a video out of photos and little clips. This is our test clip...

Week 2 Term 2
Hello everyone
For the next couple of days I am going to get a lot of work done because we only have nine people in class. The other 23 are at band camp to learn techniques for all sorts of different instruments. Yesterday we were doing an subject called PC. It's not the best, in fact it's the worst. PC stands for pubertal change. It's when we learn about what's happening inside our body, and outside. We did it basically for the WHOLE DAY!!! I am definitely NOT looking forward to doing it again next year! As you know Anzac was on the weekend and back in the day it was a very big event. They fought for our country and if they didn't we wouldn't have the luxuries we have now or we might not have been alive. You must not think you have a lot of luxuries but trust me you do.

Week 1 Term 2
I am so thrilled to be back at school! This week we have been doing lots of different things. In tech arts we are making clay jandals. In the holidays they got fired so they turned white. This week we got to paint and glaze them so we could add on beads for the straps next week. We are also doing this kiwiana thing when you choose a shape about New Zealand and put all different things you like inside. The shape I chose represent both New Zealand and I, an ice block. I only just remembered! I have finally got ten signatures for respect so that means next assembly I get a respect band. YAY!!!
We have also got the brick wall by the drive thru painted.

SHINE
In class we have been doing something called passion hour. It's when we do something we are passionate about or are concerned about. I was a bit stuck so Mrs Crowe gave me an idea. I still wasn't quite sure what to do so I partnered up with one of my friends. For our passion hour we are making inspirational you tube videos on you tube editor to motivate people to try it out. We are also going write instructions so we can share it around our school. We are not the best when it comes to devices but hopefully we can figure it out. We have also been doing a lot on writing. We have been put into reading groups from our scores in previous tests. My group has a reading activity and also a writing activity. For our reading activity we have read two stories that were chosen and then answer questions about them like, are the plots much of the same, or, do the main characters have much in common and then we have to compare them together. For our writing activity we have to create a character description which has to be more than 250 words. It might sound like a lot but it isn't really, so far mine is 405 words. This is mine...

A bundle of nerves start to form as the end of school bell rings. I rush home and when I arrive I tuck my black charcoal hair into a tidy bun, uncovering my pale face and blue eyes. I chucked on a green and white leotard and then shoved my pink ballet shoes into my turquoise dance bag. Everybody has been warning me about what a mean teacher Miss Cooper is but I’m not sure if I should trust them. As I walk in I see an old lady talking to the pianist. She is overwhelmed with crinkles and has purplish veins popping out of her forehead. She wore bright red lipstick which was stuck to her yellow teeth that you could majorly see as she was yelling. She was not smiling and I don’t even think she will. She wore brown, baggy pants that trailed down to her knees and a stained, white crop top which showed her plump, orange belly. Her dark red hair was pulled into an insanely tight bun which stretched her eyes back to her ears.
“Hello, have you seen Miss Cooper,” I said.
“I am Miss Cooper, thank-you very much!!!” she replied grumpily.
After that embarrassing moment I rushed into the changing room. I took off my sweatshirt and track pants and went to warm up. As I emerged from the changing room I bumped into Stephanie. Over everybody I know it had to be her.
“Hey watch where you are going Abby!”
“Sorry Stephanie, and it’s Alice not Abby,” I muttered back.
She had pure blonde hair and tanned olive skin. She wore a sparkly orange leotard and carried a gem covered white dance bag. You could tell she was obviously spoilt rotten by her rich parents. I mean, She is only 14 and she has her own flash, pink car!
“Nice orange leotard.” I used every ounce of kindness in me to say these word and she replied with,
“It’s not orange, it’s peach. You must be a newbie, you should go back to kindergarden, seriously!”
Class started and I was getting evil glares not just from Stephanie but also from Miss Coopers orange belly button, but if I wanted to become a professional and famous dancer this is what I would have to do. Since I’m new and only just starting this week and I don't have much time before the recital, I'm super nervous!!! How am I going to cope?
See you soon

Week 7 Term 1
As always, again we have learnt a lot. I have learnt about Fanboys (For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So) and compound sentences which is just two simple sentences that make sense on it's own and then put a comma and a Fanboy in between them. I have learnt all the maths that I didn't know from my previous test like order of operations and integers. Yesterday we also sat a test with the same sort of answers to see how much we have remembered and how much we have already improved. On Tuesday I'm pretty sure was our last music lesson for Tech Arts, and we had to choreograph a dance routine including sport moves. Our next lesson is art and I'm really looking forward to it. Oh, and one more thing. This Sunday we catch the bus for wellington for our school camp. I am so excited!!! Wellington here we come!!!!!

Week 6 Term 1
This week quite a lot has been learnt. Yesterday we had started researching and writing about 100 years of gallipoli world war 1. We have had lessons about square root and order of operations which you need to use BEDMAS (Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction) to find out the answer and Factor trees to find the prime numbers of that number. We have also finished and published our portrait poems like I have here...
